May is a month of action against the US missile defence system. US plans to put new bases in central Europe, and NATO’s recent backing for this provocative step, are making a new nuclear arms race more likely. Join us at the following events:

Saturday May 3rd: No to US Missile Defence march and rally – 12 noon to 3pm at RAF Croughton near Oxford – a US communications base involved in the MD system. Contact oxfordcnd@btinternet.com

Saturday May 17th: Breaking the Links protest – 1 to 4pm at Menwith Hill, near Harrogate – the largest spy base in the world and part of the MD system. Contact info@yorkshirecnd.org.uk

Sunday May 18th: Three Strikes and You’re Out protest – 1pm at RAF Lakenheath – home to 110 US nuclear bombs, and possible home to MD interceptor missiles. Contact mellcndeast@cnduk.org
